There are a variety of surface modes of aluminum alloy profile. At present, more than the use of high-temperature wood grain transfer printing, spray oxidation, coating film and so on.Aluminum oxide coating can protect aluminum profile from corrosion, which is the main reason of corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy. Now let's look at the methods of surface oxidation for aluminum alloy profiles! I. Natural oxidation Natural oxidation is to make aluminum alloy profile react with oxygen in the natural environment, forming a protective layer of aluminum oxide on the surface and continuing the reaction between the internal matrix and oxygen -- forming a transparent protective layer, namely an oxidation film. The naturally oxidized oxide film is not uniform, the color is not attractive, and the corrosion resistance is not strong, so few people use this method now. II. Chemical oxidation Chemical oxidation is the reaction of aluminum alloy profile after degreasing and deashing from the surface and putting it into oxidizing solution of oxidant and active agent to form a layer of artificial oxide film. The role of the active agent is to partially dissolve the oxide film in the process of formation, to produce pores, so that the oxidation continues, and the oxide film can be thickened. There are many kinds of oxidation solutions, often with chromate as oxidant and carbonate as active agent. The advantages of chemical oxidation are easy to control and easy to operate, but the disadvantages are that the cost is high, which will cause environmental pollution, and the oxide film obtained by chemical oxidation is thin and the production capacity is low. III. Anodic oxidation(Anodizing) Anodic oxidation  is to put aluminum profile into acidic electrolyte solution, as an anode, through the high voltage direct current, so that anions move towards the anode, and in the anode oxygen and anodic aluminum alloy production oxidation film. In the electrolyte, the acid can partially dissolve the oxide film and produce pores, so that the oxidation reaction can be further developed. This method makes the surface of aluminum to form a porous structure, which can be used for various coloring treatment, and can be used as a coating layer.

The advantages of anodizing are the thickness of oxide film, more corrosion resistance, better grade, and can be processed in batches. At present, many aluminum alloy enterprises and aluminum door and window accessories enterprises are keen on anodizing.
